Description

Spring 2019 marks four years since Vision 2026 was endorsed by Diocesan Synod, two years since our Clergy Study morning ’Does Vision 2026 have a theology’ and the start of our Diocesan Year of Discipleship.

As we continue to press on towards 2026, I would like to invite you to come and meet with fellow-clergy and the Bishop’s Leadership Team at one of the Clergy study ‘mornings’ across the diocese where we will be considering how we encourage people to ‘Give Generously of their time, talents and money to the cause of Christ’ as part of our commitment to Making Disciples of Jesus Christ..

Each event starts at 9.30am, with refreshments available from 9am and will provide opportunity to reflect together on how we can teach confidently about regular giving in the context of the generosity, gift and grace of God. The mornings will conclude with the celebration of the Eucharist, followed by a good lunch together at 1pm.

The dates and venues will be:

  • Thursday 10th January 2019 at Whalley Abbey, BB7 9SS

  • Thursday 31st January 2019 at the Hallmark Hotel, Leyland, PR25, 4JX

  • Wednesday 6th February 2019 at Ribby Hall Village, Blackpool, PR4 2PR
